Videos of the sessions from Drupal Camp London have started to appear on YouTube including some vox-pops style interviews from attendees. In this short interview [YouTube], MySQL co founder David Axmark gives a warning to the Drupal community. David makes a couple of observations about Drupal, drawing parallels between it and MySQL.
video… recorded from the TV channel DW, providing a view of wearable technology at this years IFA as well as an interview with Wolfgang Langeder.
According to DW, at the IFA 2020 we will see electrified clothing enter the mainstream market, where Hi-Tech fashion probably will occupy much more exhibition space, building a more common sight compared with the current novel status of wearable technology.
The environment is built around a two-panel view: The left being an Ace editor and the right being a canvas.
All of the user’s code is written using JavaScript and uses Processing.js to generate all the graphics.
All code is executed in real-time.
I've put together this 15 minute video that summarizes the problems that need to be solved and paints a picture of what an Outside-In UI could look like and what you could do with it.
There are lots of details I couldn't go into within the limited time span of this video. The intent was not to present a finished design. Rather, my hope is that the video can help the community find new answers to difficult problems by introducing new questions to ask. It's an attempt to break out of some old assumptions about how things are done in Drupal.
HTML/JS prototype we've created for a mobile toolbar and dashboard for Drupal that we hope to include as part of the Spark distribution and then propose for Drupal 8 core as part of the Drupal 8 Mobile Initiaitve.
Drupal 7's default administration tools (e.g. Toolbar module and Shortcut module) were not designed in a “mobile first" way, and as such can be difficult to work with on tablets or smartphones.
"In the U.S. and Europe, people are starting to realize that there's this opportunity to make again," Muren said. "I think in the rest of the world, they're kind of like 'Well, isn't it funny you all call this 'making.' We've been doing this forever. That's one of the things that's exciting to me is the meeting of those two places.
an app that allows up to four users standing within a 100-foot radius of one another to record 60 seconds of video.
With the finished clips, the app creates a sort of "mashup" movie, taking advantage of the various camera angles to come up with something a little more... dynamic
I don’t think a day goes by without a blog post that mentions Arduino. But what if you’re totally unfamiliar with this popular physical computing platform? Where do you get started? To answer that question, we created this video. So if you have a friend or relative who has been asking “what’s an Arduino?” You can point them here. They’ll get an overview of what it is and what’s possible with it.
