survey

Many of us consider speaking and workshop leading as part of our businesses, part of our professional work. That makes us quite different to someone who perhaps speaks once or twice a year, at conferences that have grown from a community they are active in. To try and gain wider insight I put a survey online, and I am so glad that I did. Over 200 people completed the survey, 168 completed it fully. They ranged from people who have spoken at a single conference up to 100 conferences in the last 12 months.

I've been writing a lot about what I believe is important for the future of Drupal, but now it is your turn. After every major release of Drupal I do a "product management survey" to get your ideas and data on what to focus on for future releases of Drupal (8.x/9).

Webform.com is a form and survey service built on the Open-Source software Drupal and Webform. Drupal has existed since 2001 and the Webform module for it has existed since 2004. During this time, the functionality of Webform has been exclusive to those able to set up a website, or able to pay someone to do it for them. Webform.com is intended to expand the audience that can build simple forms and surveys without needing to set up their own web site. It also demonstrates the full abilities of the Webform module for sites that are evaluating using Webform for their own site.
