My work emphasizes the aesthetics of products through sculptures that echo the wonders of modern life and the intersection of man and machine. I collect products that have outlived their original use and recycle them as elements of my art, striving to make each piece a tribute to the designers of the original product and a celebration of their talents.

At Motivarti, we believe that luck doesn’t necessarily happen to people who are lucky—it happens to people who are prepared when opportunities arise. That’s why we’ve created an organization dedicated to providing resources, networking, and inspiration for self-motivated people who create art related to the entertainment industry. Whether you’re a working professional, recent graduate, or current student, you’ll find that our lectures, classes, workshops, and services will broaden your creative horizons.

art, energy, and community. It’s an open-air art environment in the heart of an urban community on Detroit’s East Side. Tyree Guyton, founder and artistic director, uses everyday, discarded objects to create a two block area full of color, symbolism, and intrigue. artwork commissioned by the Urban Art Museum is funded by the local community, which means this is your chance to create something out of nothing!!! Few of us will acquire the wealth necessary to commission a public art installation or have a building named after you. Using the crowdsourcing format is an opportunity for members of the community to take ownership of their environment and the art that is created in it, and say “that piece of public art, I helped create that!”
They’ve “pivoted,” exchanging one set of advantages for a different set. Let me explain. The Walker has long been seen as an important place for contemporary art. They’ve staged groundbreaking exhibitions that have traveled far and wide. They’ve also had a rich programming history. Up until now, on their website and elsewhere, what the Walker was doing was always central and was broadcast outward to spark new conversations about the art and ideas around it. This is the model that most museums follow on the web.
